Birmingham Children's Hospital are using Bodet's DHF Wireless Clock System in an extended area of their Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
The expansion contains an extra 11 beds for some of the West Midlands sickest children.
The PICU Team were keen on the Cristalys clock range because they are synchronised together, with a second hand to aid patient observations and a three year battery life.
Clinical Lead, Dr Reinout Mildner, highlighted the importance of the clock's silent operation. He said: "The clocks are noise-free, contributing to a quiet patient environment."
PICU Service Manager Kate Board confirmed she was happy with every aspect of the service she received by the team in Bodet. She said: "The product selection advice, installation and after-sales service we received was excellent and the clocks will be a great asset to the unit."
The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is the UK's National Measurement Institute and a world-leading centre of excellence in developing and applying the most accurate measurement standards, science and technology available.
NPL recently selected Bodet to provide them with a wireless time solution across their sites in the UK. Home of the nation's atomic time scale, time and frequency measurements is the focus of NPL. This made Bodet a natural partner for supplying their clocks. Each clock was produced with a mounted NPL logo.
Dr Leon Lobo, Group Leader of Time and Frequency, said he was impressed with "all aspects of Bodet's service" and is "very pleased with the clocks Bodet produced specifically for NPL".
Bodet's clock systems are used across the globe in industries including healthcare, transport, banking. If you would like more information please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Bodet's outdoor clocks were used as part of the live episode of Eastenders which featured Billy carrying the Olympic Torch. More TV appearances are likely as our clocks are also being used by the X-factor this year to ensure the auditions run on time!
