2017 – 2018 State of Care Report Highlights Benefits of Harnessing Technology & Innovation to Improve Quality of Care

The State of Health Care and Adult Social Care in England 2017-18 Report from the Care Quality Commission examines trends and shares examples of good and outstanding care. One of the focuses is the use of innovation and technology.

The CQC annual report discusses the various benefits of harnessing new technology across a range of applications. It states “Technology is playing an increasingly important role in improving outcomes for people who need care, and often we see how it is helping providers to be more joined up in the way they work.”

Bodet’s Time & Attendance Systems improve connectivity in the workplace through the Kelio Visio X7 Smart Terminal with multiple communications capabilities. These include messaging and suggestions box applications, and the ability to display company bulletins as staff clock in. They are designed to improve the working lives of your staff just as much as reducing HR administration and increasing workforce visibility.

The report goes on to say, “CQC encourages the use of new technology and change through innovation to improve both the quality and sustainability of care.”

Bodet has always been at the forefront of innovative technology for Workforce Management Systems.
